Hi :)
I have some DTS audio cd's and I'd like to extract audio to convert it to 6 mono wave files
I've found some information but it's about stereo to dolby convertion.
I just need to extract audio and later convert it to 6 mono wave files. Just that. I hope there is some method to get this.
I have PowerDVD 6 and WinDVD but I don't know what more progs are needed for this.
Thanks for all ;)

Hi Trismagia,
By conisidence, I just happened to visit this forum today, since I'm offline and not an active member. Anyway there seems to be many ways to decode dtswav files to separate channel mono wavs (i.e. 5.1 -> 6 mono wavs), one of which is the use of Tranzcode (a commandline utility).
You can get a modded version by johnman which is twice as fast along with a GUI interface witten by Kurtnoise13 at NeedFullThings.. here ->

scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the icons on the left to download.
You'll need to rip the wavs off your DTS discs (CDs) using EAC (Exact Audio Copy) or something similar.
Tranzcode was a quick and dirty utility I wrote using source code from dtsdec to decode .dts & dtwav to 32-bit floating point mono wavs. I've since expanded/improved on this to include AC-3 and DDWavs in a similar fashion with the ability to change bit depth (8,16,24,32,64 bit) and resample (44100, 48000, 96000), but unfortunately have not released any updates since v03, as I have great plans for custom GUI version (with some surpises) which I hope some day will see the light of day. Unfortunately I've had to temporarily stop working on it for 4 months now, due to presonal financial hardships. Once I get these demons off of my back I'll continue developement on it.

Hi Austin :)
Thanks for asking soon
I'm going to try tranzcode and EAC to get my 6 mono wav files. I hope to do it succesfully. I'll leave new messages if something is going wrong.
Again, thanks for all
