ok .... heres my deal .... i finished the movie Goodfellas and everything is great. Only problem is the DVD is 2 sided. Meaning, I have 4 mpg files. I dont want 4 discs and I know i can edit it down to 3 which is fine with me. I read all the posts about editing software and it seems that TMPGEnc is the one to use. the only problem is when I try to do the edit I get the error "At address 73F91D04, Read error occured against address 73F91D04" in windows xp. Does anyone know a workaround for this or maybe another program that would let me do what Im trying to do without any video or audio complications ..... any help would be appreciated.

You are better off doing the encode over again as one big RIP as opposed to two seperate rips and encodes. Read the following post and give that a shot.

If you really want to edit it I suggest posting in the SVCD forum. This is not really a DVD2SVCD issue and you would most likely be helped better there.
