What i need to know is how to add subtitles that can be selected by pressing the subtitle button on my philips Divx dvd player, i am sure i have done it before i think the subs were in srt format ( could be mistaken ). I'll be using autoGK, I have noticed it has a use external subtitles ( is this the way to add the subs ?) in advanced options but when i select the option it says winrar not found cannot use this option without it ?

Hi!

If it is the same chipset as my Philips DVP 642/37, you may have to do the following:

For discs with .AVIs and SEPARATE subtitle files, the subtitles files MUST be named (These are ACTUAL names, NOT examples):

"Divx-subtitle 1.srt"
"Divx-subtitle 2.srt"
etc.

Acceptable subtitle formats are .srt, .smi, .sub...

The subtitle filenames I posted are NOT examples, they are literal. Even if your movie file is named "PolarExpress.AVI", name the subtitle file "Divx-subtitle 1.srt"[/
