I mentioned this earlier but want to explain it in more detail in the hopes that maybe someone has a workaround. Here is my email to TMPGenc; which sums the problem up.

Genetlemen;

There is no way to create a simple submenu that has Credits, Trailers, Extra Clips, etc. Let me explain . . .

No other menu can contain links to "tracks" except the Main menu. The sub-menus (which you call "Track Menus" - and they are "track menus only" which is the root of the problem) should be able to link to multiple "tracks" (video clips) - not just Chapters in a video clip. Your sub-menus cannot link to Tracks (i.e. they cannot link to separate video clips). Just "Chapters".

So you CANNOT reference separate video clips and return to the menu. For example, I want to make an "Extras" menu with Trailers, Film Credits, Deleted Scenes, etc. But that is IMPOSSIBLE with DVD Author, because sub-menus can only contain ONE track. And even if I tried a workaround, and concatenated separate video clips into one clip, and use Chapter points to reference them - once the Chapter is finished, the next one automatically plays. So if the user selected "Trailer", the trailer would play, and then the film credits would automatically play, and then the "deleted scenes" would all play.

As a workaround - I would be OK with this limitation where you can only add Chapters to a submenu - if there was an option to return to the Track menu after a chapter has completed, but this app works the way "Chapters" are supposed to work . . . when e DVD Chapter plays to completion, then the next one automatically plays. Your competitors allow "either tracks or chapters" to be referenced in the sub-menus. DVD Author does not. They also allow links from one sub-menu to another, and DVD Author does not.

DVD Author should have the ability to reference multiple "tracks" on the submenus, just like you can on the Main menu, instead of only being able to reference Chapters. Otherwise it cannot make the most basic DVD structure - the "Extras page".

Thank you;
