is 'close I frame reduction' working?

even puttin 100% reduction in a clip with no space between Key frames, i always get min Q (3for me)

Could be like that, indeed. I reported this infunctionality long time ago (past a year or so, can't even find the post again). Nobody noted.

Strange, strange. Let's have a few more tests to reproduce this and report it then.

Normally kf in my encondings are at Q 3 and 4(i have minimum at 3)
with an average boost of 9%
P are 3-5/6

and also with a reducing ratio of 100% , also with a min distance of 200 frames(!)
also in fast motion movies
i never get highly compressed kf
