Please help. I can't make this thing work. I have turned on both "Keys & remote" and "Grab". If I press Grab now button, it works. But if I press hot key, it doesn't. So far I have tried:
- pressing G, Shift+G, Ctrl+G, Alt+G;
- replacing G in hot keys with Numpad5 and trying everything with it;
- checking Process keypresses even if not focused.
I restarted the video after every change. Nothing helped.

Using ffdshow version Apr 20 2006 17:37:59 (gcc 4.0.3 sse, x86, ansi) and MPC 6.4.9.0.

If it's just a couple of frames, seek to the frame(s) you're trying to grab in MPC, then "Save Image". I personally don't use "Grab", so can't help on that issue, other than suggest this: set ffdshow's priority higher.

Grab is useful and works OK, but if you need a hot key I'm assuming you want to use it all the time and not just for cases where you need to grab a few frames for your rapidshare posts. It's not like hitting a "screenshot" hotkey in Quake or Everquest. I don't think it's really the best program for that kind of use.
