Running Playlist-connections?

I'm using dvdlab pro.
Trying to burn a dvd with a main menu and an episode selection menu.
I can get the first menu to link to the second one, but the first option "play all episodes" won't work.
I built the playlist and everything, but nothing happens when I click it.
How do I make that option work properly?

Also, do I need vmg menus for this?
I only want the one menu which is a background, two buttons with background music.
The second one has thumbnails for the episodes, and background music. No motion.
