Hi
I have had a problem twice now with recoded DVDs using DVDRebuilder Pro whereby I get Large Pink Blocks all over the image making it unwatchable... most notably on my 28 days later DVD where the entire second half of the film is affected. Anyone else had this problem? Do we know what causes it? How to get rid of it?

I've heard no other reports of anything like this. I need more information. What is your entire process?
1. Preprocessing or editing by other software?
2. What version of DVD-RB?
3. What encoder is being used?
4. Post your log.
5. Any other computer activity while you are running?

Have you checked your source for the same behavior? IIRC that happened to me once long ago on a source that was not properly decrypted.

@ SpazzHH: Havent checked the source will do so asap..
@ JDobbs: Decrypt DVD using DVDFab Platinum; Encode using DVDRB Pro 1.07 (Need to upgrade version, exe sitting on desktop waiting to go!); CCE Basic purchased version being used; Minimal computer activity (I avoid using the computer while its encoding. I did use it briefly whilst running the most recent encode that showed a problem)
I believe it may be a usage problem, thinking back, I may have been using the PC for other applications whilst the encode is running and caused me problems.
Will check source and try a reencode this evening.

It doesn't matter if you use other programs while encoding. The only thing to remember is to not mess with the files that are used during the process.

I believe I too had this issue when using the wrong version of DGDecode.dll awhile back. I always use the version that comes with dvd-RB and no more issues.
The symptoms are the same as yours, pink blocks thrown around sporadically during playback.
I'd check your DGDecode.dll version and update.
Cheers
