I have a few dvd capable media players installed on my computer, but several of them are returning an error dealing with the DVDs decryption. Interactual player's system profiler says that my DVD decoder is "ffdshow.ax," which is where I beleive the problem lies. Windows Media 9 does not work either. WinDVD works fine and I believe it's using "ivivideo.ax" as it's decoder. If my assumptions are correct I need to change my systems default DVD Decoder back to "ivivideo.ax," which is what I think everything ewas using before I installed ffdshow, althoguh I'm not entirly sure about that because it's been a long time since DVDs were playing in the aforementioned applications. If anyone knows how to change the system dvd decoder or the dvd coder within Interactual and WMP 9 , enlighten me. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help

Go into ffdshow Video Decoder Configurations, and disable the MPEG-2 decoding.

Hi!

Since you have WinDVD installed, there's really no need to have the "InterActual player" installed, as it's been known to cause problems on some systems. I'd suggest you uninstall the "InterActual player"...
