Hi i have been encoding dvd to xvid for ages and ages and
i would say i know a fair bit about it but since last week any
rips that i have done from dvd to xvid have been all screwed
up. This is what happens i encode everything goes ok then when
the encode is done the first part of the xvid is fine but around half ways through the file it goes all blocky and real bad. I aint got
a clue whats goin wrong, can anyone help me out?

Im using gordian knot to encode.

Hi,

Have you checked the zones in the xvid encoder? Maybe you have a credits zone re-used from older encodes? It just happened to me :(
To de-screw: load defaults :)
If no good (really screwed up) de-install, re-install xvid.
