Best way to add intro and credits to an already encoded xvid video files???

What is the best way to add a credits section to a movie? ive been working on a movie for almost a month now, its a full featured video showcasing all of the combos/glitches/oddities in a game called mortal kombat deadly alliance that came out back in 2002. im nearing the end, and ive been using virtual dub for all editing and its comming out great, but i dont know how to add a credits or intro with virtual dub besides just a picture.

i have adobe premiere and adobe after effects, which would be best for adding credits? or can virtual dub add credits effecitively? any tips on what is should do?

You can create a separate file of credits using the same encoding parameters as the rest of the movie, then append the movie to the credits.

very good idea! i will try that first before anything else, encode credits just as the same and then append.

you could do some others things....

use a smoth filter(es. blur)

decrease brigtness

encode at half frame rates, THEN, with direct stream copy, using 'convert to fps' bring back at the original fps, BUT, half of the frames will be just a copy, so very few bytes to encode.

if using xvid in ìmax consecutive Bvops, and zone-Bvop sensitivity, put many b frames.....
