I would like to backup a multiangel dvd. (The Abyss) which contains a theatrical version and an extended version on same dvd9.
I want to make a backup containing of the extended version only, including menues and extras and at the same time replace one of the subtitles.
Several attempts with pgcdemux and muxman failed. Maybe because the dvd is build very odd with the two versions intermingled according to vobid's and cellid's.
Tried to delete one version in dvdremake and work on result, but still no good.
Is there a known strategi to that? Maybe a guide?

Thanx in advance

[Hi!I want to make a backup containing of the extended version only, including menues and extras...One method that can be used for this part of your mission can be readily accomplished by DVD95CopyPro (commercial program), by simply DEselecting the theatrical version...

There are likely some freeware solutions as well (But I'm not personally familiar with them)

No way, even poorer result than with dvdremakepro, dvdshrink and dvdfab platinium.

ifoedit, worked well on the alien legacy discs which contained directors and theatrical cuts via multi angle. Should work the same for The abyss

Have tried that. When demuxed, still lots of open GOP's.
