after installing all big-three apps in correctly order, and configging them correctly - I seem to have a problem with scenaid.

The problem is under 'encoder' - the 'batchcce' isn't possible to check. It must be an simple solution to this, i just cant figure it out. I would be grateful in anyone who knows scenaid well, could help me.

I have installed scenaid 1.7.0.7 with VB-runtime and dgiindex, and it work perfectly before, why the heck wont it work now?

Any suggestions, fellow DVD-freax? I would love u to death if u could help me out here.

Peace out from the kitten.

hey mate,

are you sure you have installed batchccews correctly?
i can get scenaid to have batchccee greyed out by un-installing the program, however upon re-installing batchcce, if i restart scenaid it finds it again ...
just one thought, have you configured eclcce in the batchcce program folder?

cheers

batchcce is just one file - does it matter where i put it? i.e - do I have to create a woofsoft-dir in program files?

Because I have jujst unzipped batchcce to the desktop, and i have configged it properly - using cce 2.67 retail (no eclcce), and the log shows no errors - just missing the help-file.

When I try to delete batchcce, and reinstall it again - it's allready proper configured.

Any other ideas? 'Cause i'm getting pretty bored of tweaking day out and day in - it did work perfectly before - just don't get it.. :sly:

Thanks for replying anyway!

well the problem is you are only using the .exe and not the full installer.

go here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/batchccews/
and download the full installer:
BatchCCEWS.0.9.1.6_Final_install.exe

you can then overwrite the .exe that is created in the program files>woofsoft folder with the latest beta you want to use AFTER you have installed the full version.

Hmm.. I think scenaid should give option to point the batchccews location.
IMO, It's more than understandable for people to download the zipped version of batchccews by accident or not.

@LynxTheCat
Btw, unzipping is not the same as installing. To be precise, you can't say you install something, when you actually unzip.

the problem is that there is other settings in the registry that Scenaid needs besides just the physical file location... those registry keys only get created by the installer
