HI!

I have a video that uses DX50 codec and I need to play it in Media Player Classic becasue I want to edit it with Avisynth.
It first only would run in Divx, and I finally got it to run in Virtualdub but can't get it to run right in WMP or MPC. Any suggestions on how to get it to work in MPC would be appreciated.

Do you have the DivX 5 codec installed?

I have the DX50.
I just installed k-lite full pack.

Please do not install warez codec packs, especially ones with so many conflicting filters. No support is offered when the inevitable playback problems show up.

Dude. Delete that K-Lite codec pack. I want to murder whoever developed it.

ffdshow/coreAVC+haali splitter+ac3filter+mpc is all you need.

OK, uninstalled k-lite, ran insurgent then installed CCCP. File will still not play MPC and now .wmv and .avi files will not play in WMP.
Insurgent came up with several individual filters, mostly in system32 file. Should these all be deleted? What if they will not delete?

Try rebooting before messing with filters so you know none of them are in use or locked...

So.... I should try to delete all the individual filters that insurgent found?

All you need are what is in CCCP, so why not just kill everything and go from there?

BTW, proper netiquette would be using the immense amount of support already available for CCCP instead of continuing your search for support here.

OK. I'll go somewhere where people know what they're talking about.
