utilizing libmp4v2 from mpeg4ip project

I'm trying to utilize libmp4v2 from mpeg4ip project in my enc_aacPlus frontend for Winamp AAC encoder.
Can anybody provide me samples how to use this library?

i think faac uses the mpeg4ip lib for mp4 output?
