megui crash - 0xc0000005

I get this error twice every time I try to open megui. After I click Ok, it appears for a 2nd time, when I click ok again, it doesn't appear anymore.

megui.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.

Any idea what's wrong? This is the latest version of megui(march 22nd 2006).

have you installed .NET framework 2.0? I'm pretty sure that's what the error relates to.

yes, I reinstalled the .NET framework 2.0 and 1.1. Is there anything else I should do?

I'm using the regular winXP pro.

I got .NET framework 2.0 installed. I tried to reinstall/repair 1.1 but it didn't work. I unstalled it and it won't reinstall. Something about registering system.enterpriseservices.dll failed.

I also reinstalled .NET 2.0 at least twice and restarted. How can I fix this?

EDIT: somehow, I managed to fix it. Thanks anyway.
