I'm trying to do a decent script for dragonballz,

Telecide(order=1,guide=1)
Decimate(cycle=5, mode=2)
assumefps(24)
ConvertToYV12()
Deen("a3d", 3)
FluxSmoothST(7, 24).Deen("a2d", 7).Blur(1.5).Blur(1.5)

Blur(1.5).Blur(1.5).Blur(1.5).Blur(1.5) mask=false

mfToon
Tweak(sat=1.2, cont=1.1, bright=1.3)

Here are some pictures of output

This is what I have come up with, I need some help the image didn't seem to be way to smooth, I tryed resizeing with sharpresize still didn't do enough. Anyone have any other suggestions, other then remove one of the denoisers?

You have 8 blurring filters and you're complaining about the output being blurred?!

Whatever you're smoking, I'd sure like to get some. :)

Try posting a link to an *unprocessed* source clip.

1. The pictures are too blurry, are bad.
2. The script has filteritis to me:
"Deen("a3d", 3)
FluxSmoothST(7, 24).Deen("a2d", 7).Blur(1.5).Blur(1.5)
Blur(1.5).Blur(1.5).Blur(1.5).Blur(1.5) mask=false "
The 1st deen already denoise temporal+spatial, why bother with the following deen? blur after denoise? sounds bad to me ... and too many, why is doing "mask=false" there? sounds like syntax error ...
mfToon is an old script (2003 with old masktools), maybe you can try newer scripts/plugins to do similar job.

maybe:
fastlinedarken()
limitedsharpen()
vmtoon()

New script

Telecide(order=1,guide=1)
Decimate(cycle=5, mode=2)
assumefps(24)
ConvertToYV12()
Tweak(sat=1.2, cont=1.1, bright=1.3)
hqdn3d(4)
VagueDenoiser(threshold=2.3, method=1, nsteps=6, chromaT=2.0)
Deen("a3d", 3)
FluxSmoothST(7, 24)
awarpsharp
HybridFuPP(480,352)

Here is a raw source footage of the video,

fft3dfilter / fft3dgpu are my personal favorites when a strategic thermonuclear strike is necessary to exterminate noise.

Try them out, with high sigma values. fft3dgpu if you have a Pixel Shader 2.0 compliant video card.
