I have a problem with sound when encoding to Divx format. When I'm using MPEG Layer-3 as audio compressor, I can hear sound before picture. At the begining of the encoded movie everything is OK, but after a 15-20 minutes sound comes more and more before picture. But when I'm using Windows Media Audio v2 as an audio compressor everything is fine( exept a litle "thwiching" every 3-4 seconds). Anyway, I would like to use MPEG Layer-3 becouse most Divx have mp3 sound. Is it the problem in Mpeg Layer codec or in program that i use (Nero Vision Express 2) or is it something else?

DivX is a video codec and it has nothing to do with audio.
your problem is you probably encoded VBR mp3 and muxed the audio in an avi container.
If that is true use CBR and it should not desynch.
But ther could be other factors that can cause a desynch so... for a better answer we need more info.

Hi!I have a problem with sound when encoding to Divx format. When I'm using MPEG Layer-3 as audio compressor, I can hear sound before picture.1) What is the original media/format you are converting from?

2) What program(s) are you using to convert to DivX?
