I would like some advice on which UOPs to disable in my current DVD project. I really only want to disable those UOPs which might cause compatibility problems. Are there any UOPs that are known to cause problems?
Thanks

Compatability problems? No but I always disable UOP2.
If the user presses "next" on their remote control whilst in the last PG in a title, some players will jump to the next title . Most annoying.

no 'cause problems', but some actions (like corion mentioned) are interpreted differently in different dvd players

You should always prohibit FF/FR in a motion menu (UOP_8 and 9), user loose subpicture/highlight if you dont prohibit.
If you use GPRM scripts you should set UOP_2 (Title_Play), all GPRMs are cleared if a title play command is used.

Thank you for the replies. This is exactly the sort of thing I am looking for (or to avoid). If there are any more UOPs that are 'interpreted differently' by different players and so should be disabled, please let me know.
