Converting DVD(VOB) files to MPEG1 With CCE???

Hi Guys!

Is it possible to convert DVD movies in VOB format to VCD format or MPEG1 files directly withour first ripping the DVD movie to the HDD in MPEG2 format, ofcourse with help of CCE. If yes, please guide me as to how can this be achieved and what are the settings I should keep. If not, please guide me how to do it other way out.

Have you, as I suggested, tried the program "AnyDVD"?

Why do you want to avoid ripping it to the hard disk? Just curious.
