Here is my situation and I have been trying many different things.
I have a bunch of .avi files I would like to put onto DVD, preferably 2-3 files which are 45min each.
The problem I am having is that only 1 fits on the standard dvd-r disc, and if i lower the quality to accomodate 3 files the quality is horrendous.
I like how DVD Shrink is set up to where you can adjust the quality down to a % but i cant seem to get them to recognize there.
I would also like to be able to create a main menu too.
Anyone have any ideas? 3, 45min segments is my goal...

Hi!

Does the player you intend to use for playback have the ability to play .AVI files (It would have a "DivX compatible" logo on it)? If so, simply burn your .AVIs to DVD as a "data disk"

If not, rather than converting your .AVIs to DVD compliant format, you'd be far better off (higher quality) re-ripping your original DVDs and compressing them with DVD Shrink - and then use DVD Shrink in "Re-author" mode to put two or three of the "movies only" onto one DVD...
