help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have lost the ability to write to dvds im only getting the option to burn cds its as if my dvd write drive has been deleted by a virus perhaps dont know its vanished! i can still play dvds just cant burn to them when i switched my pc on last night i got an error message somthing like checking drives since then its disappeared have tried restore but its gone! can anyone help!!!!!

Go into device manager and delete the driver for it. Then power down and reboot. It should be detected and installed again.

sorry folks! the problem was nero 6 was not recognising my dvd write drive only my cd drive then i found out i could still burn with shrink or decrypt then for some unknown reason nero started recognising my dvd drive again i know its weird! but its working now cheers all!.....
