Like an idiot, I had a dvdfab split dvd, but deleted the VOB's.
:stupid:
I have an mpeg2, 5.1 file from HDTV2DVD.
I need to know how to take that mpeg2 file, and turn it into a DVD, other than NeroExpress (nero doesn't let me keep the 5.1 audio).
Thanks yall.

Since you do not own the DVD, we can't help you. See http://forum.doom9.org/announcement.php?f=6 and rule #6 for more info.

It's not from DVD. It's from my PVR.
Here's the complete sequence of events.
I took the movie off the pvr via firewire using dvhscap. I took that .ts file and used HDTV2DVD to create the dvd folders. It also created an mpeg2 file (the one I still have) and DVD folders. I took those dvd folders into dvdfab, because it was 8GB, to split to 2 DVD's. Because I wasn't thinking, and deleted ALL the dvd folders, I'm left with the mpeg file.
So, what can I use to get that mpeg file onto DVD?

Lemme guess... You also deleted the file from your PVR *and* you also deleted the .ts file. Right?

Of course I did! Cuz I'm a stupid idiot.
:stupid:
I usually delete the ts file when HDTV2DVD is done, so I have more HD space.
It's on again in 2 weeks.

Whatever. This forum has been helpful for me in the past. If you want to be *** about it and not help me out then whatever.
the program is still names killl bill_S2D, which is the suffix for the BadgerIt SDVD2DVD program. Why would I lie about converting it from .ts in HDTV2DVD to mpeg?
All I want is a program to take the mpeg file and turn it into a DVD. It's legit. No DVD's involved. If you're not going to help me .... *****.

@ thefatguy,
although i can let a lot of things slide, profanity and insults to other members is not one of them.
as you have received an answer to your queries i will close this thread.
please keep in mind that we cannot provide assistance on material which you do not own, and that when posting a question about pvr content you have recorded, it would be best to explain all the facts from the outset.
