During the overall DVD to a DivX based AVI file for the movie I'm trying to convert, my PC system crashes and auto reboots at the exact same point in the process every time. Which is to say, no more than five or ten seconds into the initial audio track extraction process. I'm using the latest version of AutoGK 2.27 and DivX 6.2.2. When I select the source input video information, I just point it straight to the VIDEO_TS directory on the DVD mounted in my disc drive. Or should I be extracing these files using DVD Decrypter instead?

< My PC Specs >
Graphics Card = ATI Radeon All in Wonder 7500
Processor = AMD Athlon XP 2400+
Memory = 1GB Corsair RAM
Audio = C-Media AC97 Audio Device (motherboard built-in)

If there is any other info that I can provide to my situation that will lead to an accruate diagnosis of my problem, please let me know and I will be happy to provide.

Look in your system and application event logs. The error may be reported -- use the Event Viewer, an application in Administration Tools. And I would rip the disc, first, per the AutoGK tutorial.

These are the only two remotely relevant event logs that were recorded by Windows at the time of the crash:

I would appreciate any insight on this matter as to the possible causes of these crashes. If there is any more info I can provide, let me know.
