Ok 17 hours later, i just finished encoding the second dpisode of dune from the same dvd as the first episode. the first episode turned out great and the second one turned out crappy. there where diagonal lines through every moving option. i just loaded the vob files into dvd2avi and tried using different video types(forced film, reverse feild order and none) and it still looked crappy no matter what. I used internal ripping method so i dont think it was a bad rip. what else could be the problem??? thanks
edit: ok i looked over the file one more time and i think i figured it out. some parts of the movie are 100% film and others are NTSC so some parts look nice and others have lines. is there any way around this?
