View Full Version : Bug in Belight v0.22 Beta 9?
I have been unable to get Belight 0.22 Beta 9 to convert multiple AC3 files to MP3's. Belight just crashes and my computer locks up. I can convert a single AC3 file to MP3 at a time. (i.e. I must uncheck all the files except one).
It is very annyoing and time consuming to have to convert each AC3 file at a time.
I am running Windows XP Home and a P4 3 Ghz computer.
Belight 0.21 works fine but it appears that this version only alllows you to convert one AC3 file at a time.
Have others experienced this bug in Belight 0.22 Beta 9?
How do I report the bug?

Known bug that I'm trying to catch up...
Kurtnoise. I am glad you know about it. I also sent you an EMAIL since I did not know how to report the bug.
Keep up the great work on BeLight. Great app.
Do you plan to port the app to Linux? Or will it be a Windows only app?
Rob
Hmm. Looks like the sourve is in Pascal. Perhaps there is a Linux Pascel compiler that will do the trick.

it's delphi (basically borland "view" of object pascal)...
however there's freepascal (multiplatform pascal developmen suite and compiler) but the project needs to be converted first...

Could you test this build (http://corecodec.org/frs/?group_id=45&release_id=299#r299) please...It seems that I finally catched up the bug. :)
About the Linux port...No, thank you. :p

Actually, the bug seems to subsist in RC1 too. BeLight doesn't crash but simply fails to convert the files correctly. All job threads seem to get launched at the same time (instead of one after each other), so some files get converted and others don't. I also had the problem in a "multiple ac3" batch.
Gonna try more extensively and report back :) (and visit unite-video some day :p)
(And the corecodec mirror seems slow as hell too ... :/)

It's a random problem...I like random variables but not this one. I'll try to look at this asap.

I have the same problem! great programme though, its very useful :)
Oh, there is also another bug. If you have multiple files in the list, and you uncheck some, then right hand click and 'clear unchecked' it actually adds the entry again to the bottom of the list!
