Transcoding past errors

Im doing a divx3 to Xvid transcode for my psp and some of my sources have that error where it plays and you get some blocks that show up for a second and continues on. How do I get virtual dub to ignore those errors and just keep on encoding onwards instead of stopping, or is that not possible? I wish I had better sources to work with but the anime is licenced so I can't really get it anymore.

when an anime becomes licenced fan subbers are no longer legally allow to distrubte their encoders any longer. If i could i would redownload the episodes that have errors in it but because of the licencing the sources become harder to find.

That is what the OP was saying, yes.

For many years now, a number of anime production companies have been tacitly or actively supporting the development of English subtitled VHS tapes -- now of course, that's moved to digital video and the Internet -- in order to market their work in North America and western Europe at no cost to themselves. Market, not sell. As in, "make possible future consumers product aware."

This is effectively allowing their product into the public domain -- at least, temporarily -- in order to improve its popularity and recognition.

Some of these companies later produce their own dubbed and/or subbed product for commercial sale, once popularity is established via the "fansub channel." Lawyers may argue both sides of this: that they cannot retract public domain work, and that dubbing or subbing makes it a new work.

As I understand it, the fansub community doesn't care about the validity of the argument, they are willing to work with these companies in halting the flow of the fansubbed work in order to continue to keep the channel open.

Now, I may be wrong or oversimplifying things, but this is the gist of current fansub content management, as I understand it.
