I use DVD2AVI, virtualdub (or nandub), Vobsub, AVIsynth.. I follow the instructions on DOOm9 site but i'm unable to do the job.

The only way i found to make this is to use VirtualDub + Vobsub filter, and a MjpeG Codec called Morgan. So i have to encode the avi Mjpeg+subbed with TMPEnc. I would like to avoid the transition between VOB and VCD and make directly VOB => VCD subtitled.

I tried also with bbmpeg without success.

Use the built-in frameserver in VirtualDub. Load the video exactly like you would to make your MJPEG AVI file, then start the frameserver. Open the .vdr file in TMPGEnc and encode away! You can avoid a huge intermediate AVI file this way as it goes directly from VOB to MPG (just through a few other apps along the way).
