WMV Recording?

Is there anyway of recording a WMV stream?

Ie I want to record or stream a mms stream IE
mms://wm.vitalstreamcdn.com/jenapub_vitalstream_com/sCheapBastards_04_06.wmv

Is there anyway of doing this?

Fraps works with any DirectX or OpenGL rendered material on which I've tried it. The trial version only allows for a 30-second capture and has its website watermarked over it.

If it's a legal, unprotected file, you should be able to capture it using the VLC player...

there is also a plugin for firefox that I recently came upon as well. It is used mainly for recording streaming videos on websites, but you can use it for other recordings as well.

by the way it is called VideoRecorder. search google if you want it to record website videos.
