HI

i just got a 64 bit AMD processor notebook(Acer Ferrari 4006)

i installed Megui but when i tried starting it shows

"The Application Failed To Initialise Properly,(0xc0000135).Press OK to Terminate)"

is it that megui doesnt support 64 bit pc's

also if it doesnt is it possible to do my encoding stuff on a 64 bit

Thanks In Advance

just because you have a 64 bit cpu doesn't mean it is a 64 bit pc. Megui should work fine on that processor, what you need to make sure you have is .Net Framework 2.0

For some things, yes you do get faster with 64 bit xp, but the programs have to fully support the os to take advantage of the speed. other wise the 32 bit programs are usually ran through an emulation layer that tends to slow them down a little.

As of now, MeGUI does not support 64 bit, so there will be no speed increase. But, who knows, it could in the future.
