1. DVD-RB Pro 1.09.3
2. AutoQMatEnc 0.32.1.0, 0.33.0.4 and 0.33.0.5

DVD:
Star Trek Voyager Season3 Disc1, R1, and Season4 Disc1, R1; no pre-processing

comment:
first of all, sapstar, AQM is a hell of an encoder -- wonderful piece of software *thumbs up*!

now to my problem :p :

i was trying out AQM for the first time on a Star Trek Voyager DVD (Seasons 3 and 4, Discs 1 -- randomly chosen) and was VERY impressed about the quality when i used 0.32.1.0. on the computer, my eyes were not able to distinguish between AQM and my CCE Basic encodes! wow! i will make comparisons on my 42" screen later.

unfortunately, after updating to 0.33.0.4 and also 0.33.0.5, i get the above-mentioned nasty error message right at the beginning of the encode phase. here is DVD-RB's status window:


[23:34:32] Phase I, PREPARATION completed in 4 minutes.
[23:45:18] Phase II ENCODING started
- Extracting STILLS for VTS_01 segment 0
- Creating M2V for VTS_02 segment 0
- Extracting STILLS for VTS_02 segment 1

... and i wanted so much to try out the newly improved algorithms. :(

anything else you would need for solving this mystery?

You need to install (unpack) 0.33.0.3 first - it comes with new dll's.
