what is nerovision......?

first of all i have already posted this question in the burning forum then i realised there was a seperate forum for this type of question.can i delete my posts or do they timeout anyways what is an authoring tool such as nerovision nero 6 says i cant burn without it...

A DVD authoring tool is a tool that takes input audio and video streams and combines them with menus, etc., to create the collection of files that you need to burn onto the DVD. You cannot just copy an encoded movie in (say) Xvid onto a DVD and expect it to play as a DVD.

Use Google to learn more about existing DVD authoring tools. You might try Muxman or TMPGE DVD Author.

so actually nerovision is a DVD authoring tool... huh, i never used it, but i thought it was just a recompressing tool from MPEG format to another MPEG format, example: from .xvid avi to VCD... :) i guess its no good since no one talks so much about it...?
