What is the name of this header patcher? Does it just "fool" the program into thinking it's mpeg2?

can you tell me all the programs used? can this be used with Ulead?

It's a "home made" software make to test H264 encoder (software and hardware)
by companies which test the compatibilities with hardware chipset decoder.
I see yesterday this soft in french company...

I can say nothing about this (NDA from different companies, see my others post).

I can say that we will say soon HD DVD with H264 video codec...

There's no direct way (that I know) of doing it. You have to extract the AAC, change it to a wav, break it into 6 wav files, put it back together...and then change it into an AC3.

If you have a Mac, get Compressor. Import your 5.1 quicktime movie, and for output choose Dolby (auto). Be sure to change the gain from -27 to -31 (this will keep the original volume) and turn off the dynamic compression (I believe the default says something like "Default film").

This will do it in one step.

I do not.

The good news is that there is now support for MAC's to use AVC. I'm hoping for it soon on PC.
