I basically have a quick question. I'm trying to back up a DVD-9 onto a single DVD. I have tried using DVD Rebuilder but ran into somekind of licencsing issue with a copy i got with a tutorial on how to use it. I think it was probally pirated or somthing. However before I use the trial version of DVD Rebuilder I would like to know the difference between the method of using the Big 3 and DVD Rebuilder. I have already read Doom 9's tutorials and am still somewhat lost on what is the difference. I want to know which one is better, or, before sombody mentions it's all opinion, what your opinion is and why. I would like to know which one you prefer and the reason. I understand that the Big 3 is more through, complete and gives you more control, but in what way. Also I know that DVD Rebuilder is supose to be a one click solutiion. Which method would also give me a better quality finished product. Also about using Scenario that looks to be a pretty expensive piece of software, I don't think there are too many out there who are really willing to pay that, and would like to know if you are actually using Scenario, if not what are you using? Is it Muxman because if so I don't know what your talking about and really anything about it.

Thanks for any feedback,
Drifterz

I think the end quality you will see will be pretty much equal with either big three or DVD Rebuilder. The difference is that DVD-RB does a lot of the work for you compared to Big 3. Also, as you mentioned it doesn't require a high-level authoring package. The learning curve and end-user time involved in each backup is way, way less for DVD-RB. The main reason DVD-RB was created was to try and bridge the gap and make high quality possible without large amounts hands-on time.

Thanks jdobbs, i really appreciate the explanation and the quick response. I think i definatly give DVD-RB a shot and if all works out no reason why I should become a VIP. Once again thanks.
