hi!
I need a tool to seperate the video-stream and the audio-stream
into 2 sperate files.
I tried TMPENC`s MPEG-tools (or what teir called) and it does create
2 files but the video file ist 100megs smaller than it should be!
There arew like 15 mins of video missing! damn :)
So i need another de-multiplexing tool!
Thx ppl

If you can find a copy of DVMPEG around it includes a utility called "demuxone.exe" -- it works great (and fast), it will even demux a VOB file.

Your mpeg stream might be damaged. Try running bbdmux (command line tool from the bbmpeg tools package), it will display info about damaged mpegs.
BBdmux will also do VOBs ... but stop when it encounters broken blocks(like TMPGEnc). I have no experience with fixing damaged mpeg2, for mpeg1 there are a few utils.

Thanks for link, ChristianHJW. I look forward to trying the program when the site is fully operational...
To any others trying to follow it, be sure to remove the comma in the address bar of your browser (otherwise the page will not be found).

There is XMuxer program at http://www.elecard.com/download/index.shtml
It can demux any MPEG to it's elementary streams and multiplex it back to program stream, if you want.
