seen DIVX for 5 euro in Italy!

hi,

I have no idea if you have this in USA, but I have seen in italy, they sell DIVX movie for 5 euro, in grocerystore.(legit disc!)

1 language, no sub,movie are not so old(maybe 1 year old!)
I would not mind to buy one or 2 of these divx to test them but I prefer the original version as I can understand english a little.


any coment on this?

Well.. yes, it's perfectly legal, they're not very good movies (not blockbusters) but quite recent ones. The shop near my house has 1 part for DVDs and one for DivXs.. :)
Usually they're just movie+ac3 soundtrack+1 sub (the ones I've seen) and for a lot of people it's good enough.

Divx? I can't imagine Divx disks being released by any major studio. Are these CDs or DVDs?

DVDs, usually with a couple of DivX files.
I can't remember the name, but, just to give you an idea, after a quick search.. this (http://shopping.multiplayer.it/catalog/default.php?cPath=95_384) is the kind of movies you can buy with € 5.
