I found I had 20 seconds of footage that was somehow seperated from everything else on a DV tape by about 20 minutes. I decided to send it to my computer, rewind the DV tape and send it back to tape next to the other footage so I wouldn't be searching all day.
1)I captured with WinDV as type2 dv
2)I opened the file in VD1.6.14 Build 24415
3)I trimmed off about 3 seconds of junk at the beginnimg and saved under a new name while set to direct stream
Both the new and original files list DVsoft (TM) as the decompressor but only the original file will transfer back to my JVC through firewire. What am I missing here?
