JBHow about windows movie maker? Its quiet handy for WMV editing. But it only outputs WMV.

I'm assuming that u r using windows. ;)

I use asf tools (like driving a 1950 jalopy, but it works) or Vegas and also an app called ezvideosplicer. I wish you could edit wmv in a hex editor like all the other formats, that's one way to join clips that never messes up thevideo - it either plays or it don't.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record: AsfBin (http://www.radioactivepages.com/). Very nice tool with a competent GUI. I only wish a tool like it existed for Matroska.

Holy bouncing boiler plates Batman, wow what a great find. It's not nearly as difficult to use as it looks, the average person can use the program. -Thank You-

From initially reading this post, going to the site, reading the page, d/l the file and splicing 2 wmv together it took 5 minutes. It's much easier to use then VirtualDub and there's none of the "crossing your fingers and hope that direct stream will work" business.
