Interesting article...I just saw it and thought some others that have not seen the article may enjoy a jab at MS.:)

that's good news. interesting to see the amount of resistance toward it from in the government (i'd have thought sysadmins and tech support staff would complain more than politicians... guess it's a sign of the times).

and the public service has substantial inertia when it comes to something like this. what it means is that the business world has probably already moved that way, if informally (i know i use open everything when i have the chance).
