View Full Version : Is GNAuto a good solution for my mobile Avox system?

I've purchased a Vantec Avox portable DVD Jukebox which is capable of playing Divx files. I tried a few divx encoders one being ImToo and it didn't do what I expected. I tried GNAuto today and it seems to have done a pretty good job.

Here's my question:

I have a 120gb portable player which will drive 2 7" screens and 1 10.4 inch screen in my car. I'll be loading up a bunch of DVD's and kids shows. I've got my collection down to 4.2gb, but the GN I did today at 1.2gb looks pretty decent for a full length movie. I just wanted to drop a note on this forum and see if GNAuto is a good solution for my problem?

All comments welcome, also, is there a sweet spot as far as file size goes? Good quality vs disk size?

Regards,

Roveer

Hi,

I suppose you are talking of AutoGordian Knot (AGK)?

If so, is your avox ? this product (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=370885) ?
If yes, first try to use the ESS option (access with ctrl+F9) which is the most compatible, if the ESS option works well but you want more you can try no option that will trigger AGK custom matrixes; test and try to see if working. If working you're done, if not stay with the ESS.

If not your avox please give specs or a link, thank you.
