is there a way to change a movie that im rippin from widescreen to full screen using psl2 ??:sly:

of course not.. rippers don't touch the video streams (except for stripping out unwanted/unused cells). What you want requires re-encoding or at least changing the video stream in a way no ripper does.. it may be that there are softwares that can add the p&s flags to a widescreen video so that your player could perform pan & scan on the fly.. but for details.. dig into the search engine and google because most people here will flog you to death if you tell them you don't like widescreen - the writer of these lines included.

Just use the setup on your player to 4:3 P&S (assuming you have a 4:3 TV)

Why anyone would want to lose so much of the movie (by "chopping off the edges") is beyond me though. P&S is a blight on the industry IMHO. But each to his own, I guess.

You might want to give a prg named DvD Santa a shot from what I've seen it gives you a choice to do this, when converting files for burning. But I could be wrong

Just use the setup on your player to 4:3 P&S (assuming you have a 4:3 TV)The P&S option only works if the DVD actually contains P&S flags. I don't know of any authoring program that can add those.

If you are using DVD Shrink, open the file, and go to reauthor. See if both WS and PS are offered. If that is the case, select the one you want, and burn.
