nero cant back up monsters ink

nero had an error tring to back up this region 1 title.fab ripped it ok, then i run shrink but when it went to burn
an error came up.

stupid me should have give you the error message,its says
unexpected exception.its the file still to big?

Just turn off the "Burn with Nero" setting, set it to create an .ISO image, then burn that yourself when Shrink has finished.

thanks that worked just fine.have a queston about a title i tryed to back up,shrink says its to big.do i need to use the
bigger media for that?

You either need to compress it or switch to reauthor mode to remove extra features and/or languages you don't need.

if dvd shrink is telling you it cannot compress the dvd sufficiently to fit onto a single layer blank disc, you have several options:

1. burn to a DL disc
2. remove some of the content from the back-up so that shrink will compress the dvd enough to fit onto dvd-5 (remove audio/extras etc)
3. use a different program (preferrably one that utilises an encoder - eg dvd rebuilder) to back-up this disc.
