newb needs help

sorry, i'm a newbie and don't understand much of this stuff..

i want to be able to watch the DVD i own on my PC and i want it to be on my harddrive...i got the movie but it has no sound...i used DVDDecrypter and Videora to convert it to .mp4 so i could put it on my ipod but i realized it had no sound..help please. (detailed, real newb here lol) when i decrypted it i used the IFO Mode and I selected only the 1st thing on the list - that's what one of the guides i read said

No Wonder. That '1st thing' is the video stream. You need to select the audio stream too. Usually comes after the video stream.
