DVD error message

I am going through the list of backup dvds. Unfortunately, there are a couple of them in which I had forgotten to label previously.

Now, when I tried to assess the dvd via Windvd or via Windows media player, the whole PC will hang.

When I try to use DVDFab, I get the error message "Get DVD information fail 4096".

When I tried using DVD Decryptor, I get error messages
"ScsiStatus :0x02
Interpretation :Check condition

CDB:28 00 00 22 C6 5E 00 00 01 00
Interpretation: Read (10) - Sector:2279006

Sense Area : 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 12 00 00 00 00 11 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 02 03 04 05

Interpretation : Unrecovered Read Error"

This error message will keep repeating.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong?

Your DVD is scratched or damaged?

Or the media deteriorated. You might want to try to play/read the ones that are labeled as well to see if they are still usable.

1) Have you tried playing them - on both your standalone player and PC?

2) Are you sure they're not unused blank DVDs?
