I'm still confused about setting things so that I always end up with the best video file at it's smallest practical size.
I tried a little experiment that confused me even more. I dragged a video onto the DIVX convert icon just to see what it intended to do with video. It reported that it would be 720 x 576 PAL & that the file size would be 1476MG.
This seemed ok so I opened AGK dropped the same file in & entered the files size to be 1476MG set it to auto width & to use DIVX codec. AGK chose 496 x 368 as the size. Why such a difference or indeed any difference from the DIVX suggested 720 x 576.?
