Having problems with some avi files when trying to convert them to DVD.

Sometimes when I try to convert an avi file to DVd using TMPGenc I receive an error that avi file can not open or unsupported. When I load the same file in Gspot to find out if I have a codec missing I find out that all codecs of that avi file are there. When I try to convert the same file with ConvertXtoDVD i receive an error that there is an error while decoding stream #0.0
Can someone help to decode these kinds of files,pls?

Where did you get the AVI file?

Take your original disc of Alice in Wonderland and back it up straight to DVD using something simple like DVD Shrink, then post a question on issues you run into with your chosen workflow.
