iso help please

i downloaded winxxxx vista iso (it says magiciso document)....now can you please tell me what to do? do i burn it straight to a dvd or do i have to decode it to dvd? with what programs do i use?

I'm certain that in order for someone to download an .ISO copy of it, it's pirated.Actually, I have on interject here. My employer has an MSDN professional subscription and so I can download all operating systems for development purposes.. and they all come as an iso. On the member signin page there's even a document that explains what those files are and how to burn them.

So it isn't so much about rule6 than it is about rule1 because if you enter "how to burn an iso file" in google, you'll find tons of information on the subject.

Let's be charitable and assume Doobie means for this forum (General Discussion).

Mods can strike in any forum. If the assigned mod engages on a thread, I usually stay out of things. But if she/he doesn't and action is called for, I don't hesitate. I've never heard Doom9 comment on it. I assume we have strike powers everywhere for a reason.

I'd like to digress a little bit (but I will stay on topic)

As there is a lot of guest or non active members reading the forum, actually 48 members for 749 guest, knowing who-is or who-is-not a moderator may be a useful information.

I found 2 ways of getting this information.
First is quite visible, in the forum index, the far right column lists the moderators in regards with the subsection they "moderate".

Second is less visible and I searched a few minutes before recalling it again; in the forum index (again) scroll down completly and click on the "View forum leaders" it will get you to the complete list with the indication of the forum moderated for each moderator.

There may be others I am not aware of.

That picture could be made certain to be understood if it included the word "Moderator", rather than "member"...
