Hello everyone,

hopefully this is the right forum. I like to encode a videoclip with wxga-resolution 1366x768. It will run on an LCD with this resolution. The problem it that 1366 is only MOD2, so i can't use any YV12 codecs like xvid. Which codec can i use for that? Quality and discperformance do matter here, so i think i can't use uncompressed RGB...

any ideas?

hanfrunz: are you sur that you are able to drive your display natively?
I ask this because evertime I read some LCD-TV tests, they say you cannot drive these displaye without any scaling.

So if the display cannot be driven natively, why doing such a work trying to fit a video to the displays native resolution if it becomes scaled though
