Staxrip problem with High Plains Drifter

I am having problems with Staxrip backing up my DVD copy of "High Plains Drifter". The video is squashed, vertical resolution is too low. It encodes correctly using AutoGK. Anyone else seen this problem? What do I look for to debug the problem and how do I fix it?

I read in another post that this movie is "2.35:1 movie letterboxed in a 4:3 container". How do I get staxrip to support that?
