Hi
I'm trying to backup Beverly Hills Cop but I have this problem.
I want to backup the full movie (Menu, movie and extras)

When the "encoding" phase starts, often i get this error window (I think it's from HC) ---> Please see the attached file.

Anyway, if I press "OK" the encoding continue and in the log i can see something like this:

- Creating M2V for VTSM_01 segment 51
- Creating M2V for VTSM_01 segment 52
-- W01005200036002 empty .M2V, retrying.
- Creating M2V for VTSM_01 segment 52
- Creating M2V for VTSM_01 segment 53

It seems that it gets an error on segment 52, i press "OK", it retries, then it works and the encoding proceed

With CCE in DVD-RB log i get the sames error (?) but it seems that it retries automatically

Is there a way to do this also with HC?

How can i solve?

Thank you for your help

The error says HC has lost access to the file... sounds like you're having HD problems or your disc is getting full.

hum.... it's really strange
it seems to do this error only if i enable "menu encoding"...

That's really odd...

Same problem happened to me, I think jdobbs is right, its a HDD problem, mine was all fragmented and accessing files went really slow, so ever since I made defragmentation, there are no more problems
